Charleston Timeworks is an appointment-only watch repair shop in Mount Pleasant serving the greater Charleston area.
The watchmaker graduated from the Veterans Watchmaker Initiative Technician Program and completed additional training through AWCI. We also buy watches, collections, and watchmaker lots.

Complete service and repair. New crystal and gaskets; original locking crown serviced. Original dial, hands, case, bezel, and crown. The hands were professionally relumed by International Watch Works to match the original dial. Passed a 5 bar pressure test after service. Vintage case wear is visible in the photos.

Vintage Seiko 6309-7049 Turtle automatic diver. Running well and working as it should, including day and date. Professionally dry pressure tested on a Witschi Proofmaster and passed at 5 bar. The movement has not been serviced by Charleston Timeworks; previous service history is unknown. Offered in its current running condition, with vintage wear shown in the photos.
The 5 bar result reflects the test at that time. Ongoing water resistance is not guaranteed. Sold as pictured.

Vintage Omega manual-wind dress watch with a 14K gold-filled case and caliber 625 movement. Includes Omega box and guarantee card dated December 16, 1969. Running and keeping time during observation; service history is unknown. Cosmetic wear includes case marks, dial spotting, and damage at the lower-left edge of the crystal. Brand-new Seiko SRPD55 U.S. models, professionally assembled and inspected by Charleston Timeworks. Customize your watch with a choice of ceramic and other bezel inserts. A domed sapphire crystal is also available in a range of tint options. Automatic day/date movement, stainless-steel bracelet, and Seiko box and papers included.
Other SRPD55 custom builds are available by request. Message us to discuss the bezel style and availability. After the work is complete, the watch is pressure tested to confirm its water-tight integrity.
